|
|
I have set up a profile for Folder Sync between 2 Windows 2003 Servers. I choose to copy file/folder permissions & Copy file/folder owner, but in the target these were not copied. Both are in NTFS partition. We use ViceVersa PRO Build 2011. What seems to be a problem? The account we use is a domain admin account and have full access rights.
Also if we need to make it sync as real time as possible, what is the best way? Schedule it to run as frequently as possible? Because we have about 100GB data to sync between 2 sites in a 2MB link, every 2 hours is a good start? Any suggestions please?
Do you have any real time sync program to trial?
Thanks. |

The 2 servers need to be part of the same domain + did you instruct ViceVersa to copy DACL and SACL in the profile settings->advanced settings?

Yes, I select Copy file/folder permissions & Copy file/folder owner. The two servers are in the same domain. |
