Is there a way to get VVPro to deal with read-only files? Rather than prompting as Explorer does, or providing an option setting, it refuses to overwrite them. The driver for this is a desktop/laptop synchronization with source controlled files. Files are sync to the laptop, checked out and made writable, modified, checked in and back to read-only, then synced to the desktop. Thx.

Try the latest build from www.tgrmn.com
There was an issue with read-only files and FAT32 file systems that was fixed recently. Please let me know if it still does not work.
thanks!

Already on the latest build (2011). This is on NTFS, not FAT. So you are saying that it is supposed to deal with read-only files that have changed? Thx.

Yes, VV should sync read-only files. Are you copying files to FAT or to NTFS?
